"Black Mirror"

The face of technology is young and attractive, but it's as cold and indifferent as the face staring back at us from our black mirrors; an emotionless reflection of ourselves, busy with fragments of conversation and distracted by a torrent of constant and consumable imagery.

"Shatterfaced" is an exploration into the fragmentation of form. This piece was meant to take a commercially aesthetic image of a female face and break it apart. The concept art behind the final production was an attempt to find a balance between fragmentation and recognition, and the result of the study was arriving at a place of balance between fragmentation and form, then turning the "dial" one notch towards form.

"I'll Need the Money Up Front" is a block color exploration in the Femme Fatale series.
femme fa·tale
fem fəˈtal,ˌfem fəˈtäl/
noun
An attractive and seductive woman, especially one who will ultimately bring disaster to a man who becomes involved with her.
The Femme Fatale is a woman who uses her female prowess towards her own ends, manipulating men with her sexuality to dominate her ruthless field of business. She is not the "Bond girl" of the popular James Bond movies, she is an entity unto herself; seductive, wise, and deadly.
12" x 18" - Acrylic on illustration board
30" x 48" - Acrylic on canvass - $600
"Come Back to Bed" is part of the Femme Fatale series. Deliberately objectifying the female form, the central focus of the image draws attention to the Femme Fatale theme:
